Well another year has come to a close. The past few weeks were a bit crazy but we managed. About 3 days after Christmas I ended up taking Hannah in to the doctor again (a new doctor this time) and she was yet again diagnosed with another double ear infection! The new doctor was good. She explained that Hannah's tonsils may be large on a normal basis and if that is the case then most likely her adnoids are too and since the adnoids sit around the ear canal if they get the slightest bit swollen they could cut off the drainage for the ear canal and thus cause ear infections. So we are going to take her back in when she is better and get them checked and she may have to have them out. We'll see how it goes. New Year's was pretty good for us. My parents came down from Bountiful to watch the girls while Josh and I went to see National Treasure 2. So that was nice. It's not very often that we get to go out and have time for ourselves. We just need to find some babysitters down here and then we could go out more. We need it. Then that evening we went up to Bountiful to spend time with Josh's dad and his wife Kris at a family get together. It was fun. I had a cold and was losing my voice so I couldn't talk much. We ended up leaving at around 11 pm since Josh had to work the next morning. We got home in time to see the ball drop on t.v.; say Happy New Year and go to bed.
Looking back over the past year it's been good for us. We started the year off in Boise, and with only a few months left we started looking for a house. In February we closed on our Townhome. And a few weeks later came down from Boise again to move our belongings in. Three weeks later in March, we were on our way back to Utah to stay. Our time in Boise was a great experience for us. We found new friends and grew together as a family. In April Josh had a work training which took him to Austin Texas for 3 weeks. Which was yet another growing experience for us. Since we had never been apart that long before. The girls and I went down and spent a week in St. George with Ami and her family. Another training for work took Josh to Japan for a week in June. And then yet another one took him back to Austin in August. During the last trip in Austin Abi started preschool and everyone got sick one right after another several times. Josh started back to School in September with a calculus class. A start to another 2-3 years in school on the way to a Bachelor's Degree in Physics. October brought many fun events, including a field trip to Hee Haw Farm with Abi's preschool, the Scarecrow Festival at Thanksgiving Point, and Halloween. November brought some relief to us with a much anticipated and talked about raise at work for Josh. And time to reflect on all that we are thankful for this year. And December was a whirlwind of Doctor's appointment's and trying to remember the true meaning of Christmas and everything that our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have done for us.
All in all 2007 was a good year for us in the Coleman Household we pray that each year to come will be just as good if not better. And we wish everyone a wonderful 2008!
